The automatic DVD/CD Storage/Retrieval File Manager/Organizer can store up to 150 DVD/CD's in one unit   Each automatic DVD/CD Library unit is daisy-chainable for up to a total of 127 units, each holding 150 disc's, that a total of  19,050 CD/DVD titles.  If you consider that each DVD holds 4.7GB of data, that's up to 705GB of storage per library.   In addition to low-dust self-contained storage, this unit helps prevent scratches to your critical media. Discs are loosely held along the outside edge, and the library literally hands the disc to you, which allows you to handle the disc from the center hole, and not just the edge.   It has a simple key lock to prevent the door from being opened, and preventing discs from being removed (not intended for theft prevention, but great to keep children out).

       The Manager/Organizer/Finder library software allows you to categorize and manage all of your DVD/CD titles (e.g. electronic books, financial data, images, photos, video, audio, movies, backups, archives...etc).  It's only limited by your imagination. Not only can it be operated through the software, but you can even operate it independently, via the front panel control.   To create a database is easy, by inserting a disc into your DVD/CD computer drive,  the software (included in the package) will automatically extract the folder information, and allow you to add your remarks.  You can also use a scanner or insert existing images to create an icon for quick search by iconic view.  There is also a feature that allows you to download music CD related information from CDDB database automatically.  If you looking for that ideal way to store all of your Movies, this works beautifully as you can store all information about each title (cut and pasting from any one of dozens of sites that have movie info like IMDB ^TM, Netflix ^TM, Blockbuster ^TM, etc.) then use the search function to find them by Actor, Director, Genre, or any criteria.
